Nataša was born in Novi Sad (Serbia) on 25 September 1980. Her father is a football coach and former player Dragoljub Bekvalac. Nataša grew up as the middle daughter with two sisters, one of which is the famous Serbian fashion designer and "Survivor Srbija VIP: Costa Rica" contestant Kristina Bekvalac and second Dragana, which is very successful hairdresser.
In 1989 Bekvalac made her music debut on a children music festival where she performed alongside popular Bosnian rock band Regina and later in 1990 she also appeared on children music show 'Muzički tobogan' (Musical Slide). In that music show Nataša show us a very big performance talent.
Bekvalac released her debut album, titled 'Ne brini' (Don't Worry) in 2001 under City Records, which was nominated for the album of the year. Her sophomore record 'Ništa lično' (Nothing Personal), featuring hit-songs such as 'Mali signali' (Small Signals), was released in 2002. Third album, 'Stereo ljubav' (Stereo Love) contained popular single 'Nikotin' (Nicotine). In 2008 she released an EP, called 'Ljubav, vera, nada' (Love, Faith, Hope), with three new songs and their R&B infused remixes.
Two years later, Bekvalac presented 'Ne valjam' (I'm No Good). The following year she was declared female pop singer of the year at the Serbian Popularity Oscar. Her fifth release, 'Original' (Original), from 2016 is her arguably most successful one. Bekvalac also made several acting appearances in television and in 2016 made her theatre debut as Queen Draga Mašin in the musical 'Tajna Crne ruke' (The Secret of Black Hand). In 2018, she replaced Jelena Tomašević as the judge on the televised children singing competition Pinkove Zvezdice on TV Pink.
